Coronavirus (COVID-19) Infection Prevention & Control Policy

If any of our staff feel ill or have symptoms of COVlD-19, they will self-isolate immediately and not come into the clinic. This may mean that we have to cancel your appointment at short notice. We appreciate that this may be inconvenient but it is done entirely for your own safety. If your appointment is cancelled you will be able to re-schedule again.

If you or any of the people you live with feel ill or display any symptoms of COVlD-19 – please advise us as soon as possible and DO NOT COME TO THE CLINIC FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT.

If you show signs of being unwell (even if you are convinced it is a common cold) you will not be admitted.

We have amended our booking terms and conditions and you will not be charged for any appointments which you miss due to illness. Deposits can be rescheduled until further notice but cannot be refunded.

  • Attend appointments as close to your appointment time as possible, DO NOT ARRIVE EARLY as this may mean that you come into contact with other clients who are just leaving.
  • Please attend appointments ALONE.
  • Please wear a face mask.
  • Please attend appointments with no makeup.
  • We will be measuring your temperature on arrival to the clinic with a non-contact forehead infrared digital thermometer. Anyone showing a raised temperature will be turned away.
  • We will ask you to wash your hands as soon as you enter the clinic and hand sanitiser will be provided.

We will ensure:

  • All surfaces are always cleaned between clients.
  • Full PPE (personal protective equipment) will be worn by all staff; gloves, face mask and apron.
  • All tools and equipment will be disinfected or sterilised in line with the specific manufacturers’ instructions for your safety.
  • Wherever possible we will utilise environmentally friendly, single use items during a treatment that will be disposed of safely after use in order to protect from from cross infection.
  • All disposable items are disposed of in separate clinical waste bins.
  • We can confirm that the laundering of clinic uniforms is a priority and we can assure you that all clinic laundry is washed at 60º C.

Our staff understand the importance of hand hygiene and will adhere to NHS recommendations.

We will try to make your treatment as safe, comfortable and enjoyable as possible. If you have any concerns about your treatments, please let us know and we will do what we can to allay your concerns.

All of these procedures have been implemented for your safety and that of our staff. We will continue to take advice from the Government and the NHS regarding safe practice and will amend them as necessary.

Thank you for your understanding.
